U.S. Senate Confirms Nominations of Corinne A. Beckwith and Catharine F. Easterly to Court of Appeals

On November 18, 2011, the United States Senate confirmed the nominations of Corinne A. Beckwith and Catharine F. Easterly to be Associate Judges of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Ms. Beckwith has worked for the past twelve years in the appellate division of the D.C. Public Defender Service and has practiced almost exclusively in the Court of Appeals. Ms. Easterly has worked for the past eight years in the Special Litigation Division of the D.C. Public Defender Service, handling a diverse range of civil and criminal matters in the federal and local courts of the District of Columbia.
